Position: Long Term English Teacher for Grade 4
Become a vital part of the OCSB team as a Long Term Occasional Grade 4 teacher, covering for a colleague on leave. Commitment to student success and teaching excellence are paramount in this role.

Candidates must maintain good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and have completed the Sexual Abuse Prevention Training. This position seeks educators who can offer a nurturing, inclusive classroom experience while following the Ontario curriculum. Your excellence in communication and adaptability will significantly contribute to students' academic achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging English lesson plans

• Support student learning both academically and socially

• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment

• Work collaboratively with school staff to enhance educational outcomes

• Attend professional development and school meetings

Requirements:

• Active certification with the Ontario College of Teachers

• Completion of the required Sexual Abuse Prevention Training

• Previous teaching experience preferred

• Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy towards students

• Passion for fostering an inclusive educational atmosphere
