Long Term Teacher

Position: Long Term Occasional Teacher Needed
The Ottawa Catholic School Board is hiring a Long Term Occasional Teacher to cover a teacher on leave. This position requires good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.

This assignment presents a unique opportunity for qualified educators to support students in their learning. Applicants must have successfully completed the Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide coverage for a teacher on leave

• Support student learning and classroom activities

• Maintain classroom management and a productive environment

• Follow all school policies and procedures

• Participate in ongoing professional development

Requirements:

• Must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers

• Successful completion of Sexual Abuse Prevention Training

• Willingness to submit a negative PRC for Vulnerable Sector

• Commitment to equitable employment practices

• Active engagement in diversity and inclusion initiatives
