English Kindergarten Teacher OCSB

Engage young learners as an English Kindergarten Teacher with the Ottawa Catholic School Board, in a part-time role designed for impactful education and community involvement.

OCSB is looking for a permanent part-time English Kindergarten Teacher who will uphold the values of equity and inclusion. Successful candidates will provide a nurturing classroom atmosphere and instill respect for diverse backgrounds among students. Additionally, you’ll be integral in shaping student learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver inclusive lesson plans

• Cultivate a supportive and cooperative classroom

• Monitor and document student progress

• Collaborate with colleagues for best practices

• Contribute to the school community through events

Requirements:

• Must hold valid certification with the Ontario College of Teachers

• Complete requisite Sexual Abuse Prevention Training

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Emphasis on diversity and inclusive practices

• Recent Vulnerable Sector Police Check needed
