Position: Assistant Role for PSY Intro U
Join the University of Ottawa as a Teaching Assistant for the PSY Intro course this Fall 2026. Contribute to student success and learning in the faculty of Social Sciences.

The ideal candidate is a current graduate student in Psychology, ready to engage in instruction-related activities. As a part-time assistant, you will support grading, proctoring exams, and interacting directly with students on campus. Attendance for specific in-person duties is essential to ensure effective course delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide grading and constructive feedback to students

• Proctor examinations ensuring fairness and integrity

• Facilitate student engagement in lectures and labs

• Attend campus for specified in-person responsibilities

• Support administration and logistics of the course

Requirements:

• Honours Bachelor’s in Psychology or equivalent

• Enrollment in a Master’s or doctoral Psychology program

• Commitment to diversity and inclusion in education

• Capability for on-site teaching assistance

• Completion of the necessary university training programs
