BGC Ottawa is looking for motivated individuals to work as Junior Youth Workers during its summer tennis program. Over two weeks in July, you will assist in delivering recreational tennis activities and engaging participants positively. This role is perfect for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in recreation and youth work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help deliver tennis lessons and facilitate games
• Foster supportive interactions with children and youth
• Prepare equipment and manage program logistics
• Maintain safety and behavior management procedures
• Work collaboratively with fellow staff and volunteers
Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in or graduated from secondary school
• Interest in physical activity and child engagement
• Background in coaching, mentoring, or camp involvement is helpful
• Capable of passing a Police Record Check
• Current certifications in First Aid and CPR considered a plus
