Join the Ottawa Catholic School Board as a Long Term Occasional teacher for Grade 5.
This role offers the chance to nurture and guide students while filling in for a teacher on leave.
To qualify, applicants must hold valid Ontario College of Teachers certification and complete Sexual Abuse Prevention Training. You will play a vital role in supporting student learning and maintaining curriculum standards throughout the assignment duration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement lesson plans for Grade 5
• Evaluate student progress and adjust instruction
• Foster a safe and welcoming classroom atmosphere
• Work collaboratively with school staff
• Engage with parents on student development
Requirements:
• In good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
• Completed Sexual Abuse Prevention Training
• Strong commitment to equitable education
• Excellent communication skills
• Availability throughout the assignment
Support educational excellence in Grade 5 with the Ottawa Catholic School Board.
