Math and Science Teacher OCSB

Join the Ottawa Catholic School Board as a Long Term Occasional Teacher focusing on Grade 10 Math and Grade 9 Science. This role is essential in supporting students during a teacher's absence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Grade 10 Math and Grade 9 Science curriculums

• Develop lesson plans that promote student engagement

• Uphold OCSB educational standards and Catholic values

• Attend and contribute to staff meetings

• Support student learning through assessments and feedback

Requirements:

• Ontario College of Teachers certification in good standing

• Successful completion of Sexual Abuse Prevention Training

• Strong teaching and classroom management skills

• Commitment to inclusivity and equity in education

• Availability to step in as needed for the teaching team
