Position: OCDSB Kindergarten Educator Role
Join the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. Focus on providing an enriching, play-based learning environment for Kindergarten students in this 100% regular role.

This position entails working closely with classroom teachers to nurture student development in cognitive, emotional, and social aspects. You will actively engage with students through classroom activities and lead after-school programs, requiring strong communication skills and a solid understanding of child development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to enhance classroom learning

• Facilitate play-based learning activities

• Manage before and after-school education programs

• Support students' emotional and social growth

• Ensure effective communication with families and colleagues

Requirements:

• Minimum two-year Early Childhood Education program

• Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators registration

• At least one year of relevant child care experience

• Valid First Aid and CPR certification

• Recent Police Records Check for Vulnerable Sector
