Position: Registered Early Childhood Educator Role
Start your career with Ottawa-Carleton District School Board as a Registered Early Childhood Educator, dedicated to play-based learning. This term role focuses on supporting Kindergarten students.

In collaboration with a classroom teacher and under the Principal's direction, you will provide high-quality educational experiences tailored to children's developmental needs. This includes managing before and after-school programs while conducting daily classroom activities to foster a positive learning culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement play-based learning for Kindergarten students

• Collaborate with teachers in classroom settings

• Organize and lead extended care programs

• Encourage cognitive, emotional, and social development

• Model effective discipline and adult-child relationship skills

Requirements:

• Completed two-year Early Childhood Education program

• Minimum one year of experience in child care

• Valid First Aid and CPR certification needed

• Police Records Check for Vulnerable Sector required

• Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse community
