This exciting volunteer opportunity at Assumption Catholic School allows you to foster a supportive environment for students, enabling them to develop confidence and essential skills. You'll engage in fun activities, encourage reading progress, and create a positive atmosphere that promotes friendship and learning. Your involvement is crucial for encouraging children's growth and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and participate in fun fitness activities
• Conduct reading sessions with individual children
• Distribute healthy snacks to participants
• Facilitate immersive literacy games and activities
• Cultivate supportive relationships among students
Requirements:
• Minimum age requirement of 16 years
• Willingness to undergo a background check
• Motivated to make an impact as a mentor
• Comfortable getting to the program location
• Commitment to following the volunteer code of conduct
