* Qualifications:
* Professional-level language skills in both English and French.
* Master’s degree in Translation or Translation Studies, membership in a recognized association or order of professional translators with English and French as working languages, and/or equivalent academic and professional experience.
* Extensive professional experience in French to English or English to French translation, preferably in Canada.
* Excellent knowledge of the Canadian language industry, including various employment profiles, important organizations, and professional standards.
* University-level teaching experience is an asset
Duties:
* Deliver lectures and manage classroom activities and assessments in both English and French.
* Build and maintain a site for the course in the university’s learning management system.
* Integrate discussions of and/or exercises with appropriate technological tools in the course content, with reference to selected technologies and resources provided by the School.
* Coordinate with the Chair/Program Coordinator and colleagues to maintain program learning outcomes and coherence, while maintaining academic freedom
