In-Person Math and Science Tutor

Transform high school students' academic skills with Oxford Learning as an in-person Math and Science Tutor in Orléans, Ottawa. This part-time role requires engaging lessons to boost students’ confidence.

As a tutor in our Orleans learning centre, you will support students in Grades 9-12 with mathematics and science subjects. Your responsibilities include following a pre-planned curriculum and conducting lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure effective teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach up to three students at once in-person

• Deliver engaging, personalized instruction in subjects

• Follow Oxford Learning’s proven methods and curriculum

• Maintain communication records and lesson notes

• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field

• Experience tutoring Grades 9-12 math or science

• Strong communication skills in English, French bilingualism an asset

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual needs

• Commitment to availability until school year end
