In this intermediate role, report to the Supervisor of Academic Administration. Your guidance will aid students in academic planning, helping them choose courses and addressing their challenges. You will plan interventions for academic difficulties and liaise with various departments to support student retention and success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess student needs and define academic goals
• Coach students on study programs and graduation requirements
• Advise on course selection and registration processes
• Collaborate to define retention guidelines and initiatives
• Promote University programs at recruitment events
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Experience in academic advising or education
• Bilingual in French and English
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Support students navigating their academic journeys at the University of Ottawa while enhancing their overall experience.
