Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team. The RECE will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s development and learning through engaging activities and personalized care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering positive growth in children.
Duties- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, documenting developmental milestones and concerns.
- Create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, behavior, and needs.
- Collaborate with team members to develop individualized education plans and ensure consistency in care.
- Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and health & safety standards.
- Support children with daily routines such as feeding, toileting, and rest periods.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Prior experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Certification as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or equivalent credential is required.
- Knowledge of child development principles, curriculum planning, and behavior management strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Ability to adapt to diverse needs of children and demonstrate patience and empathy.
- Experience with documenting observations and maintaining detailed records is advantageous. This role offers an enriching environment where your expertise can foster meaningful growth in young learners while contributing to a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in early childhood education.
