Join the University of Ottawa as a Biology instructor for the Winter 2027 semester. Deliver engaging lessons on cell and molecular biology to Section A00 with a focus on student learning outcomes. As part of the Faculty of Science, you will teach BIO
1141, focusing on cell structures, cytoskeleton, and membrane transport. You’ll cover critical topics such as the cell cycle and molecular biology fundamentals. A successful teaching background at the university level and postdoctoral training in Biology are required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver course content for BIO
1141 during scheduled classes
• Cover topics including cell structure and molecular biology
• Provide instruction and manage course activities effectively
• Prepare and assess student learning experiences
• Record and report student progress following institutional guidelines Requirements:
• Postdoctoral training in Biology
• Evidence of successful university-level teaching experience
• Proficiency in English instruction
• Strong understanding of cell and molecular biology
