As a Casual Library Technician with the Ottawa Catholic School Board, you will be part of a vibrant educational environment. Your main responsibilities include managing the Learning Commons and enhancing student engagement with books and technology. Collaborating with volunteers and promoting various literacy activities will make a significant impact on student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the school Learning Commons

• Organize literacy events and promote authors

• Handle administrative functions of the library

• Coordinate activities and schedules with volunteers

• Assist with duties assigned by the Principal

Requirements:

• Degree in Library Technician or related field

• At least 2 years of experience in library services

• Proficient with library management systems and tech tools

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

• Must be available for on-call work during school hours
