Position: Creative Educators for Temple Israel
Join Temple Israel Religious School as a creative educator for Sunday classes. Running from September to June, this position emphasizes Jewish traditions and student engagement.

We are looking for dedicated teachers to enrich our Sunday classes with engaging and thoughtful lesson plans. Candidates should have a solid grasp of Jewish traditions, ideally with a Reform background, and should be able to communicate in Hebrew. Experience in lesson planning and working with kids is imperative to create a fun learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Sunday classes from 8:30 am to 1 pm

• Create and implement dynamic lesson plans

• Engage students in Jewish traditions and Hebrew

• Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

• Collaborate effectively with the teaching team

Requirements:

• Understanding of Jewish traditions (Reform an asset)

• Experience teaching or working with children

• University students in their 3rd year or more are encouraged

• Creative approach to lesson planning and adaptability

• Patience and enthusiasm for teaching
