Become a Teaching Assistant for the Intermediate Accounting I course at the University of Ottawa's Telfer School of Management. This role requires strong accounting knowledge and commitment to student success.
The position is available for the Fall 2026 semester. You will assist students, grade assignments, and manage exam proctoring. Candidates must have a strong grasp of IFRS and Canadian ASPE, coupled with effective feedback skills. Must be located in Ottawa and available throughout the semester.
Key Responsibilities:
• Grade quizzes and midterm examinations effectively
• Provide structured feedback on student assignments
• Assist with labs and maintain student records
• Proctor exams and manage classroom environments
• Communicate with students via email to offer support
Requirements:
• Minimum C.G.P.A. of 7.0
• Minimum grade of A- in ADM 2342 or equivalent
• Knowledge of online course delivery methods
• Experience with Microsoft Teams is an asset
• Must be able to manage strict deadlines
