Part-Time Tutor: Math & Science Expertise

Foster academic success for high school students with Oxford Learning as a Part-Time Tutor specializing in Mathematics and Science in Orléans, Ottawa. This in-person role enhances students' learning confidence.

Join our Orleans learning centre team to provide one-on-one instruction for students in Grades 9-12. Your engagement in mathematics and science lessons is aimed at building students’ understanding and self-esteem. You will receive thorough training to align your teaching with Oxford Learning’s curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tutor up to three students simultaneously in person

• Deliver tailored and engaging math and science instruction

• Follow the designated teaching methods and guidelines

• Maintain lesson notes and student communication logs

• Establish a positive and encouraging educational atmosphere

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related subject

• Experience with tutoring Grades 9-12 math and science

• Strong communication skills in English;
French is a plus

• Ability to adapt to different student needs

• Commitment to working until the end of the academic year
