Elementary Long Term Teacher - Arnprior

Elevate education at AJ Charbonneau Public School as an Elementary Long Term Occasional Teacher for Grade 6-7 FI/FSL. This full-time role runs from September 2026 to February 2027.

We are seeking a committed individual with FSL Part 1 qualifications to fill this role at AJ Charbonneau Public School in Arnprior. Candidates must be members in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers. French-speaking teachers are especially encouraged to apply as we strive to enrich our bilingual education environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Grade 6-7 French Immersion and French as a Second Language

• Prepare engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

• Collaborate with staff and engage with the parent community

Requirements:

• Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers

• FSL Part 1 Qualifications essential

• Junior and Intermediate qualifications preferred

• Strong communication skills in French highly valued

• Ability to provide current vulnerable sector screening
