Kids Event Host

Position: Kids Event Host at Michaels
Become a Kids Event Host at Michaels in Ottawa, where you’ll create exciting, interactive experiences for children. This role combines party planning with outstanding customer service for a dynamic work environment.

As a Kids Event Host, you'll coordinate birthday parties and craft classes, engaging children in fun activities. Your responsibilities include facilitating creative projects, ensuring the store is clean, and maintaining safety standards throughout events. Work closely with clients and team members to create enjoyable experiences for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute children's birthday parties and classes

• Instruct kids during craft projects and activities

• Communicate closely with clients about event details

• Maintain cleanliness and organization before and after events

• Support store operations with additional tasks as required

Requirements:

• Energetic and enthusiastic with excellent people skills

• Experience with children's events essential

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Customer service or retail experience preferred

• Ability to stay active and participate in events
