CUPE Teaching Assistant

The University of Ottawa is hiring a Teaching Assistant for the Marketing Strategy course (ADM 4322) in the Fall 2026 semester at the Telfer School of Management. Support students through grading and weekly online labs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will engage with students by managing their queries and evaluating their performance in the Marketing Strategy course.

Your role includes conducting online labs and grading assignments while ensuring clear communication in Brightspace. Previous experience as a TA is advantageous, and a minimum grade in the course is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grade final reports, midterms, and presentations

• Conduct online lab sessions to foster learning

• Respond to student inquiries through Brightspace

• Participate in lectures and course meetings

• Apply grading rubrics for structured feedback

Requirements:

• Minimum C.G.P.A. of 7.0 and an A- in ADM 4322

• Experience with online course delivery is an asset

• Strong grasp of marketing principles

• Access to necessary technology for online teaching
