Contribute to shaping the academic experience at the University of Ottawa as a Corrector for the Criminal Law and the Criminal Justice System course. Support student success through grading and meeting deadlines throughout the semester.
This is a part-time, in-person role focused on grading papers and exams for the CRM
2300 course within the Department of Criminology. Candidates should possess a BA Honours in Criminology or an equivalent degree. Responsibilities also include adhering to the deadlines set by the supervising professor, requiring strong time management skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Grade papers and exams for students
• Meet established deadlines set by the supervisor
• Ensure accurate and fair assessments of work
• Maintain confidentiality of student submissions
• Support academic integrity during the assessment process
Requirements:
• BA Honours in Criminology or equivalent
• Commitment to timely completion of tasks
• Strong attention to detail in grading
• Ability to handle sensitive academic materials
• Adherence to university policies on training
