AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 ) The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate. These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay. These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified.
Retro will be paid after the ratification.
Indigenous Academic Tutor
- GPA of 6.5 or higher.
- Must be currently enrolled in the JD program or have recently completed the JD program.
- Must have completed Constitutional Law II;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Demonstrated skill in legal writing;
- Prior tutoring experience;
- Aptitude using technology for teaching purposes;
- Ability to take initiative, and to work independently and creatively;
- Flexibility and adaptability around new teaching/learning conditions;
- A demonstrated understanding with respect to the barriers faced by Indigenous learners and communities.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
