Math and Technology Classroom Teacher

Burgeo Academy is looking for an Intermediate Math and Technology Classroom Teacher to inspire students from September to June. This role emphasizes a student-first approach in educational practices.

As a full-time term educator, you will engage in various teaching duties while creating a safe and caring atmosphere for student learning. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Education and must demonstrate a commitment to collaboration, effective teaching, and assessment strategies that promote student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement responsive lesson plans

• Provide tailored feedback to enhance student learning

• Maintain a supportive classroom environment

• Collaborate actively with parents and community members

• Encourage a mindset of continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education and NL Teaching Certificate – Level IV or higher

• Technology Education Diploma Minors and Majors in relevant subjects

• Proven experience in creating inclusive learning spaces

• Strong assessment and planning abilities

• Ability to engage with colleagues and parents professionally
