In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Director of Business Development, focusing on creating educational, cultural, and social events that respond to the needs of the student body. Your skills in logistics and organization will be crucial as you collaborate with volunteers and student clubs to foster an inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize a variety of educational and social events
• Manage administrative tasks and event budgets
• Collaborate with volunteers and student organizations
• Create promotional materials for events
• Conduct evaluations for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Must be an enrolled student at the University of Ottawa
• Proven experience in event management
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Familiarity with cultural diversity and international student affairs
• Leadership experience is a plus
