Teaching Lab Technician at University

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for laboratory equipment and materials

• Train students and teaching assistants on equipment usage

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Advise on lab equipment design and modifications

• Maintain inventory of lab supplies and equipment

Requirements:

• College diploma in natural/applied sciences or related field

• Minimum 1 year experience in a teaching/research laboratory

• Strong technical knowledge of lab equipment

• Ability to perform diagnostics and repairs on lab equipment

• Effective communication skills for training sessions
