Assignment:

• Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
• Assignment will include Grades 10-12 English and Social Studies
• Course load to include:
  English 10-2, English 20-2, Social Studies 10-2, and Social Studies 20-2
• Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue until December 18, 2026, with the possibility of extension

Qualifications:

• Experience in relevant grade level and courses as mentioned above would be considered an asset
• Experience teaching at the Senior level would be considered an asset
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in an active, team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
• Ability to teach in a flexible learning environment
• Passionate about teaching and ensuring belief in every student
• Ability to effectively integrate technology and an understanding of 21st Century Learning Skills
• Assessment literate
• Ability to use varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Effective classroom management
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
