Support young learners as a Long Term Occasional Early Childhood Educator at Herman Street Public School in Petawawa, offering a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Collaborate with educators and families to enhance children's growth and development.

The RENFREW COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator for 35 hours per week. This position entails partnering with kindergarten teachers, observing children's progress, and creating enriched early learning programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enriched early learning programs

• Collaborate with kindergarten teachers and other educators

• Observe and assess student development and progress

• Communicate effectively with families and participate in meetings

• Ensure a safe and respectful learning environment

Requirements:

• Two-year Early Childhood Education Diploma

• Minimum two years of relevant experience

• Registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators

• First Aid, CPR(C) certification

• Strong communication and organizational skills
