Under the guidance of the Chair in Construction Trades, you will deliver instruction in the Welding Techniques program and multiple apprenticeships. This part-time role involves updating courses, utilizing educational technologies, and ensuring curriculum relevance. You will guide learners, participate in professional development, and evaluate student progress diligently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and revise courses for welding programs
• Incorporate educational tech to enhance learning
• Deliver instruction across multiple terms
• Provide academic advising and tutoring to students
• Evaluate student performance and course outcomes
Requirements:
• CWB Certified in multiple positions required
• Minimum two years' diploma in Welding necessary
• Two years of teaching experience preferred
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Familiarity with postsecondary education delivery
Engage students in welding education and lead curriculum development at Algonquin College.
