Oxford Learning Orléans is seeking an energetic, organized, and people-focused Student & Parent Engagement Coordinator to join our leadership team.
Working alongside the Centre Director, you'll be at the heart of our learning centre, guiding families through their educational journey, supporting students in achieving success, mentoring teachers, and helping lead the day-to-day operations of a thriving educational environment.
This is more than a teaching position; it's an opportunity to become a leader who changes lives every day.
This position is in-person. This is not an online role. Relocation packages are not available. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
AboutThe Role
As the Student & Parent Engagement Coordinator, you'll serve as the bridge between students, families, teachers, and leadership.
Student & Parent Engagement- Welcome prospective families and introduce Oxford Learning programs
- Build meaningful relationships with students and parents
- Conduct student assessments
- Develop individualized learning plans
- Meet regularly with families to review progress and celebrate achievements
- Prepare detailed student progress reports
- Teach students during afternoon and evening instructional hours
- Coach and mentor teachers
- Support instructional excellence across the centre
- Ensure Oxford Learning teaching standards are consistently maintained
- Foster a collaborative, positive teaching culture
- Coordinate student and teacher schedules
- Prepare the centre for daily operations
- Support the Centre Director with daily leadership responsibilities
- Help create an organized, welcoming, and engaging learning environment
- Jump in wherever needed to ensure students and teachers are successful
- University degree in Education, Mathematics, Languages, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Fluency in both French and English (spoken, written, and reading) is mandatory
- Passionate about education and student success
- A confident communicator who enjoys working with families
- Comfortable leading and supporting a team
- Organized, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Experienced in teaching or tutoring
- Experienced working in an educational environment
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and online communication tools
Leadership experience is considered a strong asset.
Compensation & Career GrowthSalary:
From $20 – $22 / hour
- Six-month probationary period
- Performance review after six months
- Opportunity to transition into a salaried leadership position based on performance after probation
- Two weeks of paid vacation during the holiday season (once salaried)
Because we're an after-school learning centre, our leadership team works when our students learn.
July – August- Monday–Thursday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Friday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Monday–Thursday: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
