Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver structured literacy and math programs to K-6 students

• Implement trauma-informed practices to support emotional well-being

• Foster an inclusive classroom environment for diverse learners

• Collaborate effectively with staff and support personnel

• Assess and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Requirements:

• Qualified as an OCT with Primary and Junior designations

• Additional qualifications in FSL Part 1 and Special Education Part 2 preferred

• Experience with students with special needs considered an asset

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented approach

• Commitment to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board’s Strategic Plan
