As an Intermediate Specialist, you will play a vital role in advising co-op students on their career development and experiential learning. This includes teaching essential employability skills, guiding students through the co-op program, and promoting retention. Your expertise will directly influence students' academic success and their readiness for the job market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist admissions team with co-op admissibility assessments
• Review and update program regulations for student awareness
• Monitor student files for eligibility to graduate
• Counsel students facing placement challenges
• Develop and conduct career development workshops
Requirements:
• University degree in relevant field
• 3 years of experience in academic counselling
• Bilingual English and French proficiency
• Experience in workshop development
• Strong knowledge of labour market conditions
