Management Development Specialist

Become a key player in employee growth as the Management Development Specialist with Garda World in Ottawa, Ontario. You will facilitate training programs and enhance management skills using innovative methods like gamification.

This role focuses on planning and delivering training for new hires and ongoing professional development in Aviation Services. You will conduct needs assessments, market available training, and ensure employees meet industry standards. Monitoring instructional effectiveness and maintaining training records are also essential tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate initial hire and recurring management training programs

• Assess training needs; design related educational materials

• Implement diverse training methods including mentoring and simulations

• Gather feedback from trainees for continuous improvement

• Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal experts

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience

• Understanding of aviation security screening practices

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to facilitate training for varied group sizes

• Willingness to travel 5%-10% within Canada
