Manager of eLearning and Development at Algonquin

Lead the R3 Project's eLearning and Development at Algonquin College in Ottawa. This full-time managerial position focuses on enhancing training methods and processes through innovative eLearning solutions.

As the Manager of R3 Project, you will drive college-wide training initiatives, ensuring effective adoption of the new Student Information System. Collaborating with various departments, you’ll develop eLearning strategies and oversee comprehensive training plans for faculty and students. Your expert knowledge in adult learning principles and technologies will be essential to the project's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish eLearning strategy for R3 training

• Develop college-wide training plans leveraging eLearning

• Schedule Business Process Walkthroughs and training sessions

• Monitor Knowledge Transfer Plan with SIS vendor

• Assist in training core users through Software Simulations

Requirements:

• Minimum four-year degree in Education or equivalent

• Seven years of experience in adult learning and training

• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems, especially Brightspace

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

• Experience in the post-secondary education sector
