Library Technician at University

Elevate library services as a Library Technician at the University of Ottawa. This position focuses on customer service, project coordination, and tech expertise in a bilingual environment.

As part of the On-Site Team, you will oversee front-line services, providing assistance and training to various library users. You will utilize your expertise in library systems while coordinating essential services to enhance user experience. This role involves collaboration with librarians and managing specialized resources to promote optimal library use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project activities and establish objectives

• Provide technical assistance on library systems

• Organize orientation sessions and workshops

• Maintain a positive working environment for users

• Support initiatives to enhance student experience

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3 years in customer service

• At least 1 year in file coordination

• Bilingual in French and English

• Availability for varied schedules including weekends
