EarlyON Centre Facilitator

Join the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board as a Casual EarlyON Child and Family Centre Program Facilitator. Develop and deliver impactful, play-based educational programs for young children and their families.

You will collaborate closely with school staff to ensure high-quality program execution that aligns with community needs. Utilizing your knowledge of child development and early education, you will engage parents and caregivers in fostering a positive educational environment. Your experience working with diverse populations will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily operations of the assigned EarlyON Centre

• Facilitate programs focusing on literacy and numeracy

• Encourage healthy interactions between parents and children

• Keep accurate records of attendance and participation

• Serve nutritious snacks to children during sessions

Requirements:

• Two years of experience in child care or education settings

• Registration with Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators

• Valid First Aid and CPR certification

• Understanding of school policies regarding early years education

• Ability to adapt to changing needs of families
