OCDSB is looking for a creative individual to fill a 50% role in its Extended Day Program. The position involves leading educational programming that fosters cognitive, emotional, and social growth, working collaboratively with other staff members. Ideal candidates should bring passion and commitment to nurturing diverse students in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement effective play-based programming for young learners

• Collaborate with EDP staff to enhance student development

• Lead sections of the before and after-school program

• Build healthy adult-child relationships and positive discipline

• Adapt programming to meet diverse student needs

Requirements:

• Completed a 2-year Early Childhood Education program

• Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators

• Minimum one year of childcare experience

• Valid First Aid/CPR certification

• Police Records Check for Vulnerable Sector
