Casual Outreach Attendant Youth Events

Become a Casual Outreach Attendant at the Ottawa Humane Society, where you will facilitate engaging children's events and programming.

Your primary role as an Outreach Attendant will involve leading various educational programs and ensuring a safe environment for child-animal interactions. With responsibilities including managing events, conducting tours, and training volunteers, the role is perfect for proactive individuals passionate about animal welfare and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead public education programs for youth

• Supervise and ensure safety during activities

• Conduct tours of the Ottawa Humane Society

• Organize decorations and equipment for events

• Maintain cleanliness of program areas

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent

• Experience working with children or youth (3 months minimum)

• Standard First Aid CPR-C and AED Certification required

• Proficient in English; bilingual is advantageous

• Level 3 Vulnerable Sector Check required
