Work Hours:

28 Hourly Rate: AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $32.84 ou/or $51.75 (Sept. 2025 - Aug. 2026) The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate. These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay. These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified.

The Centre for Research on Health and Nursing (CRHN) is looking for a Faculty of Health Sciences student to organize and facilitate a recurring Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) Student Group for students in the Faculty of Health Sciences. The BIPOC Health Sciences student group aims to promote empowerment, belonging, and support through discussion by creating a space for undergraduate and graduate BIPOC students to learn and bring awareness about topics relevant to their diverse needs.

The group is led and run by BIPOC undergraduate and graduate nursing students utilizing different approaches such as peer discussions, videos, questions and answers with panels discussions, reading group, etc. The coordinator will be responsible for scheduling group sessions, managing communications, keeping records and statistics, coordinating guest presenters (as required), and preparing meeting content and reports.

• Student in a Faculty of Health Sciences program (required)
• Good organizational and time-management skills (required)
• Experience in organizing student groups or events (asset)
• Knowledge of and experience in BIPOC issues (asset)
• Member of the BIPOC Health Sciences Student Group with a high attendance record for prior meetings (asset)

• High level of competence in written and spoken English is required.
• French is an asset.
