Position: Oxford Learning Tutor for Math & Science
Become part of Oxford Learning Barrhaven as a Tutor specializing in Math and Science! This part-time position allows you to help motivated students excel in Ottawa, Ontario.

We are looking for Teacher-Tutors who can work on weekday evenings and Saturdays. This role provides you with the unique opportunity to teach pre-planned lessons using effective instructional techniques. You will be instrumental in helping students improve their understanding of math and science concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons to three students in various subjects simultaneously

• Implement Oxford Learning philosophies in your teaching

• Fill out detailed notes post-lesson for student records

• Maintain effective communication with students and their families

• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is ideal

• Strong knowledge of the high school math and science curriculum

• Previous tutoring experience preferred

• Excellent English communication skills

• Capacity to manage multiple students at once
