The University of Ottawa is seeking a part-time professor for the Cities and Social Change course (GEG
3106) in the Winter semester. Candidates should hold an M.A. in Geography or a related field and ideally possess teaching experience. This in-person course emphasizes the spatial mediation of urban life through social change and spatial relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Cities and Social Change (GEG
3106) course
• Facilitate engaging classroom discussions and activities
• Assess student performance and provide feedback
• Maintain course materials and resources
• Collaborate with department faculty on curriculum
Requirements:
• M.A. in Geography or related field
• Teaching experience preferred
• Strong understanding of urban geography
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion
• Willingness to adapt teaching materials as needed
