Join the Upper Grand District School Board as a Secondary English Teacher in a long-term occasional role. Contribute to student success in Orangeville from September 2026 to February 2027.
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Intermediate English educator to fill a long-term position in Orangeville. The successful candidate will substitute for the regular teacher, ensuring a seamless educational experience for students. Engage in a supportive environment with over 6,500 staff members while fostering diverse, innovative learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide consistent English education during the absentee period
• Facilitate student-centered learning experiences
• Work collaboratively with faculty to enhance educational outcomes
• Ensure adherence to Board educational standards
• Support student engagement and well-being
Requirements:
• Qualified for Intermediate English instruction
• Effective communication and classroom management skills
• Dedication to equity and inclusion in education
• Familiarity with Ontario teaching guidelines
