Join the University of Ottawa as a part-time Instructor for the TEFL Methodology course age undergraduate students in dynamic teaching methodologies essential for online English instruction.
This position, available for the Fall 2026 semester, requires the instructor to lead the TEFL Methodology stream in the STEP program. You will design interactive classes, oversee assignment evaluations, and support students in their micro-teaching efforts. A Master’s degree and ESL teaching experience are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and administer TEFL-focused course content
• Manage evaluations of student assignments and projects
• Guide and support micro-teaching practices
• Work closely with other instructors to maintain curriculum alignment
• Utilize digital tools to enhance teaching effectiveness
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in TESL or related field
• At least two years of ESL educational experience
• Background in collaborative teaching environments
