Assistant Tukimut Youth Program

As a Tukimut Program Assistant, you will work closely with the Tukimut Coordinator and casual Youth Workers. Your efforts will focus on providing culturally grounded after-school and community activities, while fostering safe and inclusive spaces that promote well-being and engagement among families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and deliver after-school and camp programming
• Assist with daily activities and special cultural events
• Create inclusive environments that nurture youth development
• Communicate with families to encourage their participation
• Maintain administrative tasks and accurate attendance records
Requirements:
• Experience working within Inuit or Indigenous communities
• Relevant post-secondary education is an asset
• Fluency in English essential
• Criminal Reference Check and medical certification required
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to become certified
