As a Youth Peer Educator, you will dedicate 2-4 hours weekly from September 2026 to April 2027, focusing on delivering content related to Intimate Partner Violence, consent, and digital safety.
This role offers extensive training and support, helping you develop essential skills in community advocacy and peer leadership. Your work will directly connect youth to available resources and support systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate co-designed educational workshops for youth
• Foster inclusive and respectful environments for learning
• Engage participants through interactive methodologies
• Act as a supportive peer and role model
• Guide youth to community supports through safe referrals
Requirements:
• Young adult aged 15-24 with a commitment to peer support
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Passion for public speaking and community engagement
• Willingness to partake in all necessary training
• Previous facilitation or mentorship experience preferred
