Position: Instructor ESL 160 at OLBI
Become a key player at the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLBI) by instructing the ESL 160 course for international faculty. Engage with professors from Universidad del Atlantico in Ottawa.

This part-time role for the 2026 Fall Semester combines immersive English learning with professional educational training. Responsibilities include leading lessons that cover essential topics in English-Medium Instruction, assessment methods, and more. Collaborate with another instructor while overseeing a teaching assistant, ensuring educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction in English for academic contexts

• Design and evaluate bilingual learner assignments

• Facilitate both online and on-campus course components

• Collaborate with a teaching assistant for effective teaching practices

• Conduct post-program implementation labs to solidify learnings

Requirements:

• Master's degree in second language teaching or TESL

• Two years teaching experience in ESL at the post-secondary level

• Relevant experience in team-teaching preferred

• TESL Certification or its equivalent

• Commitment to in-person instruction as required
