The University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for the Winter 2025 session in the Faculty of Science. Candidates must have a Doctorate in a field relevant to Pharmaceutical Science, alongside experience with federal pharmaceutical regulation. Teaching experience in pharmaceuticals is a valued asset, along with skills in coordinating guest lectures with industry experts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Pharmaceuticals:
Federal and International Regulations
• Discuss Canadian Acts and international trends
• Prepare submission packages for biopharmaceuticals
• Conduct risk assessments of new products
• Coordinate guest lectures and manage course logistics
Requirements:
• Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Science or related field
• Experience with pharmaceutical regulations
• Post-doctoral training in biotherapeutic research is preferred
• Previous teaching experience is an asset
• Ability to coordinate with subject matter experts
