The OCSB seeks a Program Assistant for its Culinary Program, working closely with students aged 15 to 18. This part-time role involves providing direct support in culinary tasks, reinforcing learning concepts, and assisting with individual education plans. Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise secondary students and motivate them effectively
• Provide one-on-one support in kitchen activities
• Implement time-out procedures from Individual Education Plans
• Assist in formulating student goals and adapting instruction
• Maintain weekly program menus and logs of student achievement
Requirements:
• 2-year diploma in Child and Youth Care or related field
• 1 year of experience with youth aged 15-18
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Initiative in building rapport with adolescents
• Experience with Google Suite applications
