Job Summary

. Providing support to students enrolled in at least one course in social communications as part of their academic program, helping them with their studies and the completion of their assignments.

  • Personally mentor students in at least one course offered by the School of Social Communications as they complete their assignments and provide them with academic support;
  • Make yourself available to students during office hours;
  • Refer students to university resources tailored to their needs;
  • Listen to students and report issues related to academic success to the administration;
  • Organize activities to support and guide students in their studies
Who is eligible

A student at Saint Paul University who has been enrolled in a social communications program for at least one year. Must be in the third or fourth year of a bachelor’s degree program. Overall GPA must be above 80%.

Language requirements
  • English reading, speaking, and writing.
  • French reading, speaking, and writing.
Statement of Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work independently, combined with strong planning and organizational skills
  • A strong interest in teaching and helping others
  • Proficiency in computer skills
